If you are not already registered with Homechoice you should try our Housing Options Self Help Tool before applying as there might be a number of other options that are more suitable for you!!!
Homechoice gives you more say in deciding where you wish to live and makes the process much more open, letting you see which properties are available, what the rent is and who can bid for them.
Once you have completed your online application form we will assess your need and write to you with your Banding, you will then be able to bid for up to 3 suitable properties advertised on this website Saturday to Wednesday each week. Properties are generally allocated to the bidder in the highest Band and who meets any stated criteria i.e. local connection to the parish etc.
Homechoice only advertises social housing to rent. If you are interested in an affordable home to own (e.g shared ownership, discounted sale etc) you need to register with Southwest Homes. Please visit the South West Homes website where you will be able to see if you are eligible for any ownership schemes, view available properties and complete an application form.
